EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Evansville Otters finish a six-game homestand by hosting the Southern Illinois Miners for a weekend series. This weekend’s promotional themes feature St. Vincent Night, postgame fireworks, Military Appreciation Night sponsored by the VA Clinic, Riley Foundation and United Way present: Real Superheroes Read and Evan’s Birthday. The Otters invite fans to come out and enjoy these special promotions!

Friday, August 11 at 6:35 p.m. – St. Vincent Night, Fireworks

Come spend a Friday night at the ballpark for St. Vincent Night with the Evansville Otters! St. Vincent will distribute bicycle helmets to the first 500 fans 12 and under through the gates. The first pitch baseball will also be delivered by helicopter and Indiana 811 will be giving popcorn vouchers to the first 811 fans. After the game, fans are encouraged to stay in their seats for a spectacular fireworks show. Come see the Evansville Otters take on the Southern Illinois Miners at historic Bosse Field!

Saturday, August 12 at 6:35 p.m. – Military Appreciation Night

On Saturday, it’s Military Appreciation Night at Bosse Field with the game being sponsored by VA Clinic. All past and active members with a military ID will receive free admission. Fans will also have the opportunity to bid on themed, game-worn jerseys throughout the game. Some static display military vehicles will also be placed outside the ballpark. 

Sunday, August 13 at 5:05 p.m. – Riley Foundation and United Way present: Real Superheroes Read

The Otters finish the series against Southern Illinois with Riley Foundation and United Way present: Real Superheroes Read as costumed characters will be in attendance to interact with fans. Children can dress up as their favorite character and there will be themed music with a costume contest as well. Fans are invited to come enjoy time with the family on Sunday while they watch the defending Frontier League Champions!
