The Otters will begin their 20th season in the Frontier League this summer. The schedule features 51 regular season home games and an additional two pre-season exhibition games.

Pay varies on experience and time with the organization.

For the second straight year, the Otters will be rewarding their employees with possible bonuses. One hard working employee will be selected after each home series and be rewarded with a $25 gift card.

There are also end of the year incentives for Otters employees as well. These bonuses total an additional $1000 separated between a few dependable employees for their hard work throughout the season. (The 2013 end of the year winners were Tiffany Hassebrock, Ethan Mounts, Jo Olson, Allison Rollins, Sheri Winters, Kaitlyn Young).

“It is important to reward employees who improve your organization and bring a smile to the fans’ faces,” said Director of Operations Jake Riffert. “We have many employees who do that and the Otters wanted to reward them for that in 2013 and make that promise again for 2014.”

The Otters also offer paid internships to college students as well. The internships are available in the concessions, group outings, operations, and ticketing fields. Expected start date is May 1, 2014. Those interested can email their cover letter and resume to ottersbb@evansville.net .

The Otters start the 2014 season on the road at the Normal CornBelters on May 16. Otters Opening Day will take place on Wednesday, May 21st at historic Bosse Field with a special doubleheader against the Rockford Aviators. First pitch will take place at 6:05 pm CT.
