Matt Jaimes, the Texas Rangers’ 12^th round pick in the 2006 amateur draft, has agreed to play for the Otters in 2010. Jaimes hit .229 with one home run and 11 RBIs in 30 games with the Rangers’ Arizona League rookie team in 2006. Texas released Jaimes before the 2007 season.
 

            The Ontario, Calif. corner infielder hit 15 home runs and posted a 10-1 record as a pitcher as a senior at Chino (Calif.) High School in 2006. Jaimes passed up a chance to play for the University of Hawaii to sign with Texas in 2006.
