Evansville Otters have signed pitcher Mitch Kramer of Amherstberg, Ontario, Canada, to a 2010 contract. The 6’2”, 190-pound southpaw played collegiately at D-II Lincoln Memorial University of the South Atlantic Conference in Harrogate, Tenn.
In 14 games as a senior in 2009, Kramer with 7-1 with three complete games and a 4.69 ERA. The Railsplitters’ team captain struck out 46 in 65 1/3 innings. Kramer was also 10th is the South Atlantic Conference is strikeouts with 51.
Kramer began his collegiate career at Olney (Ill.) Central College, where he was 10-2 with a 2.02 ERA in 2006. He is a high school graduate of St. Thomas of Villanova in 2005.
