The Evansville Otters lost to the River City Rascals 14-6 on Saturday night at T.R. Hughes Ballpark.
River City jumped ahead 7-0 and scored in each of the first five innings.
Otter outfielder Troy Frazier collected four hits in the game for Evansville and catcher Dan Killian also hit a two-run home run in the Otters loss.
The winning pitcher is Zach Robertson (7-4) who gave up four runs over five innings. The loss goes to Evansville's right-hander Scott Kelley (6-6) as he pitched 1 1/3 innings and allowing six runs.
The Otters and Rascals will meet again for the final team this season on Sunday night. First pitch is scheduled for 5:05 p.m. CDT as right-hander Matt Trent (1-2, 7.33 Earned Run Average) will start for Evansville and righty Josh Lowey (9-2, 2.63 ERA) is the probable pitcher for River City.
