Biography:
Outfielder/ first baseman Nick Schwaner is playing in his fourth season of professional baseball.

Signed with the Evansville Otters on April 13, 2012, Schwaner is in his second year in the Frontier League.
Schwaner excelled as an Otter in 2012 where he played in all 95 games, hitting a team high 12 home runs and collecting 52 runs batted in.
The 25-year old joins the Otters from the Tampa Bay Rays organization where he played for the Bowling Green Hot Rods (Class A) last season. In 2011, Schwaner had 96 hits, collected 44 runs batted in and crushed eight home runs.
Schwaner has had power for a number of years, hitting 45 total home runs in his college career at New Orleans and 17 of them in his senior season.
The Slidell, Lousiana native is a big fan of the New Orleans Saints. He is most looking forward to the great atmosphere at historic Bosse Field.
