Biography:

Greg Fontenot resigned with the Evansville Otters on May 25th.

The shortstop played with Evansville last year, holding a .257 batting average, stealing 13 bases and setting a franchise single season record with 19 sacrifice bunts.

Fontenot joined Evansville mid-season from the University of Louisiana - Lafayette where he played college baseball for four seasons. Greg hit .319 during his time with the Ragin Cajuns, but did not get drafted by a MLB team.

Greg comes back to Evansville after coaching baseball during the spring season.
