The Evansville Otters continue to build towards a strong 2010 season with the signing of middle infielder Jake Rogers. The former 22nd rounder is another addition to a strong 2010 roster for the Evansville Otters.
A Lewiston, Idaho native, Rogers started all 53 games for the Jackrabbits, and helped lead the team to a share of the Division I Independent Tournament title and to a 34-19 overall record. Rogers batted .312 in 2007 with ten home runs, 48 RBI and a .538 slugging percentage. For the season, Rogers batted .397 with runners in scoring position, and batted .314, including 22 RBI, with two outs.
